Respira la industria en California: tras un diciembre que arrancó bastante seco, un sistema de tormentas, salvó a los resorts de un mal panorama que había comenzado con las elevadas temperaturas y los incendios forestales.
El temporal, que se cree que será el más grande de la temporada en la región, tiñó de blanco las laderas de Sierra Nevada dejando más de 2 metros de nieve en algunos resorts. Se viene más para la próxima semana.

IT’S OFFICIAL, the 2021/22 Ski + Ride Season at Dodge Ridge is now underway following 76 inches of snowfall at the summit and 53” at the base from the past 4 days.The Skiing was phenomenal and the smiles from ear to ear were endless throughout the mountain today.
THE WEEKEND FUN IS JUST GETTING STARTED
– Friday we’ll get Chair 8 open and the backside of the mountain (Granite Bowl will not be open Friday as Ski Patrol works to prep this area)– Stagecoach Park (chair 7) is open with 12 features
– Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we’re forecast to have sunny, bluebird skies to enjoy
– Saturday (12 – 4pm) live music from Keith Burrows on the Creekside Deck from 12 – 4pm.
– Saturday (11am – 2pm) we’ll have a visit from Santa-Claus for all the kids
– Sunday, Dec 19 we’ll host our 1st Annual Santa Sunday. Everyone come-out dressed as Santa Claus and meet at the top of Chairlift 3 at 10am for a big photo op. Everyone who shows up at the top of Chair 3 at 10am dressed as Santa Claus (men & women) will get a cool piece of SWAG from the good folks at Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort.
